and have the best quarterback ever to grace a football field, and have the best defense, and tom brady will break the single season td record, the greatest coach of all time, hall of fame this and hall of fame that and bla, bla, bla, bla, is anything short of achieving those goals gonna be good enough i know it wont be for me as a fan of another team im expecting to see this greatness played out each and every week and so far the pats dont look super human especially after the eagles were handing them their asses the other night. im expecting all these thing to happen that the patsie fans carry on about every single day or it will be a total let down, i mean if you have the best team and qb ever you surley cant lose can you? i mean without being totally humiliated and embarassed that the best team, coach, and qb ever couldent get it done...thoughts?

They are a really good team but they can lose, and Philly gave everyone a blue print on how to do it. They have a few weaknesses, the most glaring is at LB where they are OLD and slow (and just lost Colvin for the year). I mean when you have Junior Seau as your nickle and dime LB that is sad. And the Eagles took advantage they worked the middle of the field, the area between the LB and Safeties. A team with a good TE and slot reciever will score on the Pats all day. The offense is very very good but you have to love what the Eagles did, mixing 3 man lines and overload blitzes. They looked like they confused the Pats a lot, I am sure Coach B will work a master plan on how to hide these weaknesses but you cant hide old on the D.

Whew, your fingers must be tired!
I am sure most REAL Pats fans would give the Eagles credit for playing a hell of a game. I know I was holding my breath for awhile there! They are playing great this year to say they have the best of everything is unrealistic. To say they are playing at an extremely high level right now is realistic, but it can go away in 1 week.

Uh...Well, I don't know who you've been talking to, but I never said that...I think the 49ers of the 80s were the best team ever assembled...If these Pats win a couple more Super Bowls, at least, then I will be arguing in favor of the Pats, but I'm not gonna get ahead of myself...

Can everybody stop for a minute, catch your breaths or maybe get a glass of water and settle down. The fans are only repeating what the sports media is saying. All this hype about the greatness of the Patriots is not originating from the Patriot Fan base. It is coming from Network television, ESPN, Yahoo Sports and all other sports experts. Its coming from your very own town sports stations and papers whether it be San Fran, San Diego, Seattle, Baltimore, etc. Blame your own sports writers and not the fans.
The Patriots Rock, they are great and Mangini S U C K S.

You really look silly ranting like this since the Pats won the game. The Eagles played a great game and deserve credit for for it.

so whats your Q?
I do agree it sucks to hear about how great they are, but the fact is they are the only undefeated team in the NFL. someday I hope you get to gloat about your team. I did back in the 80's and early 90's.
