teenage topic for persuasive article?

for my journalism class, i need to write a persusive paper on a topic that appeals to my age group. i am 14. and i reallly love writing so i want to make this paper awesome. i thought about freedom of expression.

what are some topis that i can write on and some website where i can find more information and statistics on it.

the negative and positives of social networking sites like Myspace, facebook, etc.

negatives: stalking, cyberbullying, etc
positives: the ability to 'hang out' without being in the street, if you know what i mean.
then elaborate using examples from online newspapers, etc.

I think that you should write about laws being passed if you should be able to talk on your cell phone while driving. Consider the many people who have died in crashes due to it.

I'm 14 too!! I dont know what you want to write about but maybe:

Driving age?
How women are used as simply sex symbols in todays society?
(like in video games and music videos)
