I've "forbidden" my husband from taking up that particular hobby (it's a joke between us because he has some unusual hobbies). I just can't stand the thought of him building an environment for the trains (towns, mountains, etc.) and wearing overalls and an engineer's hat. I knew dads like that growing up and it seems really goofy to me. Expensive hobby, too.

I love those things! I am going to get my soon started when he is old enough. At 14 months, he is already showing great appreciation for trains. (Even the real-life ones!)

No offense dude, but if you want to get ladies by having a hobby you should get a dangerous one like racing motorcycles or rockclimbing or teaching skydiving or full contact bare-knuckle cage fighting or something and then pretend that it doesn't bother you how dangerous it is... I dunno why... not my rules.
