Nope. The Secretary of the Treasury is a cabinet officer and head of the Department of the Treasury. The Treasurer is a lower level position, reporting to the Secretary, who oversees the Mint and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing - basically, she's in charge of the coining and printing of money.

No they are different. Look at any dollar bill there are two signatures on the front. Treasurer of the United States and Secretary of the Treasury.

Do a quick google search to learn about the difference between the two.

I think what you call "evil" could do with some elaboration. The US is certainly the most violent and aggressive country in the world at this stage in history, but does that mean it is inherantly evil? Is there not something we can do as americans to change this?
