I think he's doing what most people expected, which is to score a lot of points while shooting a pretty low percentage and suffering plenty of growing pains.
He's turning the ball over too much, but that's to be expected of a kid trying to lead a team. Better that he learns now, so that he's ready to shine once they get some talent around him. He's still raw, but I'll give him credit for doing as well as he has to this point.

no, because the hype was too big for him. He's not lebron or wade or melo. He's the star player on a team with bunch of nbdl players and jeff green. He's shooting % blows, but that was expected since he would already be the focus for other teams, but honetly he's just not that great, he still got a lot of growing to do before he becomes an all star, if ever. He just doesn't impress me too much, he's like a jamison type player in my opinion.

I wouldn't say he's not and he is. I feel he's done pretty well but I expected a better rebounding effort and better shooting percentage. But he is the carrying a team w/out a veteran on board besides Wally Szczerbiak. Its not like Lebron entering the league w/Big Z and Melo with Andre Miller type thing!!!
To be honest he's better than Kobe in his rookie year, regardless if u decide to come-out of high school or college. That's your decision
He's got to gain a couple more pounds and learn to attack the basket-more rather than settling for jump-shots and 3pointers. But I like him!

well he's a rookie so i dont think that there was a lot of hype, but i think he is playin up to most peoples expectations and once he gets some weight on him he could be a dominant scorer in the league... i tihnk he'll still be rookie of the year though

you're in basic terms so dense. Do you ever actually watch basketball or do you in basic terms pull stats out of context? Durant is so youthful. He for effective exhibits potential to be between the astonishing game enthusiasts indoors the league in some years. he's not any doubt unquestionably between the astonishing SCORERS indoors the league already and that's like his 0.33 365 days. without Durant, the Thunder are not from now on something.. they would not be the situation they're without him precise now. supply Durant some greater desirable years and his assists and distinctive stats will attain each and all of the a number of each and each 365 days all stars. by potential of that element he might desire to in all threat be averaging 35 factors according to sport.

I think so. He's an excellent player. Better than Oden, I think. But I haven't seen Oden play in the NBA only in college.
