Sorry if it sounded a bit awkward asking. (Limited Question Space) The main point of the message is eventually I want to be willing to devote time with needed elderly. Just wandering this would be a great thing to do. All I know is that in today's world most young people can sometimes be self centered (not all), but seems like some are more on the side of disrespecting them, then treating them friendly. And when this occurs I know that by experience that one little help or friendly conversation can let them feel that they are important people in our lives still. I am a person that has great amount of empathy in my heart and this is how I would like to share it.

Spend time with them talking and asking them to share their life stories with you. You will be entertained and really enjoy them.

You can also visit, a Retirement Home, maybe every so often.

The world needs young people like you.

The world and other Seniors need more people like you. In my opinion. Stay as long as you like on this site. We can all use a little empathy. Although in my case throw money!

The best thing you could do would be over your services, yard work especially, cut the grass rake leaves, take out trash, etc....
General help, even run to the store and pick up the heavy items for them, laundry soap, bottle water, etc...
The very least acknowledge them when you see them, a simple smile or hi would be so nice.

God has given you a great love toward the elderly. My mom is older and it is nice to hear that other people do care about how hard it is to become older. I do not look forward to it either. God Bless You

Try volunteering at a senior citizen facility or assisted living home. I'm certain they would appreciate the caring and visits.

Good rule for the elderly --- don't give away what you may need for yourself. To Alca... You're at the age when your children should be helping you.
