About a month ago I posted me resume online. The job I was working for fired me after they found out. It was a written rule ok I understand that but shouldn't I got a warning or just been suspended. Well now I'm out of a job and can't even claim unemployment and all I did was send my resume to one job. Everyone I worked with including my manager knew I wasn't really going anywhere and I've also told the President of the company but they don't care. Well I still don't have a job and I've practically begged for my old job back but it hasn't worked. Ever since I left business has gotten hectic, two girls quit and 1 barely comes in without complaining. They also hired two more people but it's been two busy to train them. I have worked for this company for 1 1/2 years and have exceeded better than half of the other associates. Everyone want me back, my manager even said she'd do anything to get me back, but there's only so much she can do. I don't know sometimes people get money and forget how to treat others. I have no one to blame but I wish they would just give me another chance. When I tried practicaly begging for my job back all they said was it would't work out like I stole something, I mean I've seen people at the job do more than that and get away with it. It's like I'm getting the death penalty for speeding. Well I guess that's how life goes, but let me know what you think?

But how can they stop me from getting unemployment? If it's that easy to get people to work for that company why would they try to fire me before I quit it wasn't that serious. I should have the right to pst my resume anywhere I want if I want to better myself.

Sounds to me like they where just looking for a reason to fire you.

If all you say is true than the people or person who keeps telling you that you cant have your job back has some big ego

It happens dude, company do so because they either want to set an example or they think that because you posted your resume so you will certainly leave the company so better they fire you so you are at no where and they can arrange your replacement. Best of luck..

Sounds like you got the shaft, but look at it this way. Think positive and start looking for a better job. Must be a lot of people that can do what you did for your old company, so put it behind you and look for something better!

Well, it was a written rule, and you broke it, so it would sound like they were justified in firing you.

That said, it sounds more than a little bit harsh.

whine whine whine. Please STOP whining.

Hope you learnt your lesson and that you know to not do that again.

Now its time for you to go outside, start walking, and actually do some talking at places where you want to work.
