it's really soft and it sounds like there's an orchestra in the begining and the guitar is playing a little bit. it's really smooth and it's kind of like Carlos Santanna's songs( you know they make you wanna go to sleep) i had a few lyrics in my head but i forgot them. is this enough info for you guys? please put a sample of the song if you think you know what this song is.

ok. here's some more info. it takes FOREVER for them to start singing. it's like a couple of minutes of just instruments. it doesn't have a bluesy feel to it. i'm pretty sure it didn't have the saxaphone.

I believe the song you're refering to is Wish You Were Here from the album by the same name...here are the lyrics:

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

It might be "Wish You Were Here". It starts off sounding like someone changing stations on a radio, with a brief clip of orchestral music before going to the opening chords on acoustic guitar. The words to the chorus start off with:

"How I wish, how I wish you were here,
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year."

soft Pink Floyd... might be

Wish you were here
Us and them
Comfortably numb
High hopes

Pink Floyd is my favorite band ever. you should really listen to all their music, they are very talented and have made some of the best albums on rock history. You can check out the following albums
Meddle
The Dark side of the moon
Wish you were here
Animals
The Wall

sounds like us and them...try looking that up. some of their other good songs include drain damage, the wall, money, time, comfortably numb, and have a cigar.

I wish I knew, but I'm guessing it's from "The Wall" c.d. (that's my favorite c.d.)
