What is everyone's thoughts on if the movie 'The Island' was real? The Island is a movie about an island filled with clones that are used for organs when the original person is in need of them. I know cloning is a touching issue, but what about this particular situation?

Of course this is NOT a good idea, or even material for a joke.

They are getting much better at growing up different tissues from stem cells. You're going to find that very soon, this will not even be a question, as we will be able to grow up replacement tissues and organs as needed.

A novel written along the same thematic lines as "The Island" that is very powerful is "Never Let me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro.

I think it is a good idea because those clones are a exact copy of you, so the organs in the clone's body will be suitable inside your own body.
