No, I'm sure that Conservatives unfounded hopes and unrealistic expectations will somehow see us through this crisis. If we all clap our hands and shout "I do believe in Laisse Faire, I do believe in Laisse Faire!" then the economy will be just fine on it's own. No need to keep an eye on multinational corporations, the ridiculous housing market, or the shriveling value of the dollar. Nope, we don't need to think about any of that at all.
You can Talk a Drop or a Spike in the market, but you simply can't Talk a recession into being. Poor fiscal policy brought about the storm that's coming. Whatever happened to conservatives' chant of Personal Responsibility? Stop blaming the media, and own up to your own mistakes- you voted for fools because they said what you wanted to hear, regardless of the fact that their actions didn't match their words.

So do you really think that if a recession was on the horizon, the federal reserve would be running around in circles and crying about it on TV daily? Of course not.
Their job is to sell this economy, good or bad. In some ways, they are worse than Baghdad Bob because they are a bunch of propagandists who won't tell the truth either.
However, with that in mind, the value of the US dollar has fallen 35% since 2002 and is below the value of the Canadian dollar now, as of 2005 Americans held $800 billion in credit card debt alone (not counting mortgages, auto loans, etc.), home values are down, foreclosures are skyrocketing, oil is near $100/barrel and the countries holding $9 trillion of US debt (which has risen 40% since 2001) are getting very nervous.

You can't throw a Trillion into the toilet without economic impact. Just imagine what you would say if President Kucinich wanted to spend (whether well or with a lot of waste) on peace, education, clean energy, and health care. What the media says is irrelevant compared to the above waste (which is ALL the money spent) on the Dictator Dumbya Big Lie Iraqi Crusade.

Gee, I wonder why the Fed has made two interest rate cuts in the last two months and is expected to make another one in two weeks. Fact does not become fiction simply because of lame charges that the messenger is "liberal." The "liberal press" charge is a dinosaur; not documented, not proven, simply not true. Lazy, maybe. But liberal? Get a life.

The media only reports stories from information supplied by economists and the government. Blame the source, not the reporter. Maybe the nine trillion dollar National Debt has something to do with it.

Actually people are talking about it being a bad economy but no one is acting like it is. I ask someone about the economy and they say is is bad. I ask them how they are doing and they say great. I ask them so where is the bad and they don't know.
If the economy were really bad we would be seeing riots over gas prices but people are only grumbling. No one is even actively complaining.

So when a recession happens, you will blame it on the media? BTW, "Field of Dreams" wasn't a documentary.

No, probably not.
The Liberal News Media and the Democrat Party have been trying to get us into a Recession for 5 years.
They haven't done it. But they are still trying.
They MUST Defeat America.
