Still learning to get the accurate temp in the morning. However, I noticed that if I stick it in a slightly different area of my mouth, I get a different temp. So, I tried to place it in the same general locale in the mouth. Also, even if I stick it in the same area in the mouth the second time, I'd get a temp as different as .2 lower. Is this normal?

As long as the thermometer you are using is for basal body temp and not a fever thermometer don't worry about it. The easiest way to tell the difference in the two is that a basal therm. will take a minute or more to read a temp but a fever therm. will take less than a min.
Also, I"ve noticed the same thing about taking it out and then putting it back in the same spot and getting a bit lower temp, here's why I think it happens: you temp the first time and when you take it out it's wet with saliva and the little metal tip gets really cold, you stick it back in, and it causes the inside to cool down a bit from the metal tip being so cold. Not sure about that though.
