We saved their behinds in two world wars and they've never forgiven us!

Actually, the people I met in the French countryside and smaller towns were WONDERFUL. The people in Paris, like most people in huge cities, were cold and very unfriendly and definitely did not appreciate that we were Americans.

It has little to do with the World Wars but they think we have not paid them back yet for siding with us during the American Revolution...even thought we saved them pretty much in WW1 and WW2

Well I know that during the American Revolution the French came and helped us deafeat the Bristish. However we never went to their aid during the French Revolution.

i certainly dont hate americans, i love them, i just no though that i couldnt live there. to many cultures for my liking, and im not a culturally diverse person, iam clannish in my mentality.

I just think they're snobby and think they're more cultured, more liberated than us. My ex-mother-in-law was one. I thought she was a total fake. She made me feel like a yokel.
