I'm not going to lie i visit porn websites frequently but i recently ran into a child porn site and i want it down immediately!

If you're in the US the correct police department to whom you should report an online child porn site is the US Postal Police, or more technically the US Postal Inspectors Office. (No, I don't know why them instead of the FBI, but that's who it is)

Contact the upstream ISP.
They are the only ones capable of "taking the site down" and their administrators can do it far faster on their then the police can persuade them via legal channels.
In fact, if the police are not interested in getting a court order via a long drawn out process that gets lawyers from everywhere involved (assuming the site is even hosted in the US), then all they will do is contact the ISP first and ask for cooperation.
So why not cut out the middleman?
