My daughter is 8 months old and is FINALLY getting a tooth, its hurting her pretty bad but she is doing really good. She is still sleeping through the night and is just a little extra whingy. The thing that seems to bug her most is her nose. It is clear and runny but its stopping her from drinking her bottle, and when she is asleep i can hear it in her nose all yucky when she breathes. The only time she can clear it is when she sneezes lol. I have tried vicks but its not blocked so its not helping, also her eyes are runny too like she has an allergy even though its just from her teeth. Is there any tricks to help with her nose??

only thing i can really suggest is keep wiping it. i know thats not very helpfull but you say youve already tried vicks so there isnt really alot else you can do. i suppose you could try running a hot bath with a bit of vicks in and shut bathroom door so room gets steamy and sit in bathroom with her. (obviously not put her in bath). Good luck!

Get some saline nasal spray--Little Noses makes one and gently give her little squirt, then use a bulb syringe to suction the mucus out, just be sure to only put the bulb syringe at the very opening of her nostril--don't shove it up her nose. Also, after you use the saline some babies will sneeze, this is good, as you've already figured out it helps clear it up for a bit.

my son is 11 months and getting 4 teeth in at the same time. he too has a runny nose, rosy cheeks and a slight fever. i know you said u tried vicks but did where did you put it. try putting it on the bottoms of her feet and then put socks on her. it works wonderfully for my son.

Get one of those aspirators to clear her nose out.  They should have good ones at the hospital if you ask nicely.  Otherwise just let it run its course.

Suction it when you can and if it dries up in her nose they have baby saline drops to help her clear up. Thats what i used for my daughter.
