It's kind of a minor phobia-so it hasnt been too hard to handle. I am petrified of letting my feet hang over the side of the bed. I'm absolutely sure that someone will reach out and grab my feet. This was not helped out by my cat who attacked my feet when I let down my guard. That set me back at least a few years. Phobias are a bummer. Oh-and I handle it by not letting my feet hang over the side of the bed. You should see the act I go through to get into and out of bed.

SOCIALphobia
Tried therapy, tried pills, didn't last.
Drank a lot for the past 4 years, that seemed to work. Developed a bad drinking problem, did a lot of things I regret.
Now I stay sober. Take pills for my depression and panic attacks and those seem to help a lot. Otherwise I just try to take things easy, live healthy, and I find that when I surround myself around good people that good things happen which completely cancels out my fear :)

YahooAnswersphobia.
In order to overcome this phobia so i can lead a more productive lifestyle; I just clench my teeth, close my eyes, be brave, and log in to Yahoo answers.
Then I answer all the questions I can before I get too scared, and then I log off and take a nap.
It is working very well so far..because each day I am able to answer I few more questions than the day before!
I am so happy.
I am already up to answering 21 questions in a day!
i am so proud of myself!

Touching slimey food particles in the sink with my bare skin. Ugh. Before I got a dishwasher & a garbage disposal I used to wear rubber gloves.

Spiders. Honestly. I keep my house SUPER clean and I control the spider population by stepping on them.

Homophobia-phobia. I am afraid that people will (and do) harass me on a daily basis for being gay.
