What items sink?

Any item that weights more than the water it displaces (its volume in water) will sink.
Ships made out of steel,sink in the water until the weight of the water that they displace equal the weight of the ship.

Rock.... dishes... most metal objects... people who can't swim... most anything more dense than water...
