EMA: I think it's this government. Remember their reaction when our sailors were captured by Iran compared to Australia's reaction when the same thing happened to them later.

Suspicious timing. I wonder if it has all happened to deflect interest from the peace talks.

As for committing a crime? Incitement of hatred has to be considered as far fetched by any reasonable person.

Rach, your reply to Cameron. There is no solid proof 'anywhere' that Muslims did 9/11. It has been proved that all the video recordings of them boarding the planes were from their journeys through airports up to months before 'the event.' For the confession tape, Osama put on a whole new body and face, ie it wasn't him! The phone calls that we all heard have since been proved impossible, that's why you never hear of them anymore. Half the suicide bombers, who were filmed going onto the planes, have been found alive and well around the planet. The plane that crashed into the field landed perfectly safely at a distant airport, unloading all 200 of the plane carried victims into lives of obscurity.

And aid! You must be joking. It is a crime to call it aid. There are so many restrictions, boundaries, limitations and problems caused by 'aid' that the Sudan is almost certainly better off without it. The 'aid' industry, it can be argued quite convincingly, is probably the reason why there are so many countries in desperate financial problems. Stop believing 'the media' and start reading.

That sounds like a good suggestion.
It's not that simple, but certainly the Sudanese government needs some pressure to do rights by its citizens and those who come to help them.
Remember, the supposed blasphemy is not the real reason for the action; it is actually the government's response to a dispute with the school over taxes.

The teacher is a sad incident. However do not forget the thousands bring murdered in Darfur because of the Sudanese.

That is why all support should be withdrawn.

YES. We need to respond strongly to this. We've been humiliated by the Iranians and I think other nations have taken that as a sign we are weak and our people can be mistreated.

You see that's what normal people would do.......

Fight fire with fire.......

Britain on the other hand will just cower and say 'oh please let the teacher go we are so very sorry honest we are......and so on'

The woman will get her lashings and a million years in jail and GB will still do absolutely.....nowt!

This country is just a sh1t bag!

The woman was teaching their kids, their future and she's gonna suffer for that. The kids named the stupid teddy not her!

Edit - thats what I mean Rachel - this country needs to get a bit of a back bone!!! FFS
