Community college executives said the admissions guidelines won't cost the state. Illegal immigrants must pay out-of-state tuition, $7,465 for a full class load, which is more than the actual cost of providing the education, $5,375, the officials said. They also emphasized that under the old policy, with most schools admitting undocumented applicants, 340 of the 270,000 students last year -- or about one-tenth of 1 percent -- were illegal immigrants. If that figure quadrupled, the system could handle it, Sullivan said.

Part of our population has identified a certain group of laws and has refused to enforce them.

I would like the same privilege. I want certain laws not to be enforced. I didn't get to approve your list, so you don't get to approve mine.
Or is it only you who are entitled to do so? i.e. you are the 1st class citizen, I am 2nd class.

Are you suggesting that they've stopped taking residents, because they haven't. As such, I fail to see how this hurts anyone.

Frankly, I'd rather have all people who are in this nation get educated. Educated people are a net benefit to our nation -- they pay more than they take.
