What would you have missed if you had lived many centuries ago? Besides the internet and other electronic devices, because I am sure we would have all missed each other not having the internet!

I know we wouldn't have known what we were missing out on, but since you know now... tell me...

Oh I love my toothpaste!

If we all lived centuries ago, we would not know the things we would be missing. Mascara has never been invented. Internet never has been invented. The thought of the internet would have blown our minds. We would not have missed them because we would not know they have ever existed. In the year 3000, people might say: "I wonder what I would be missing if I lived in the year 2007? I bet I would miss my new [insert future gadget here]." But I know what you mean. I would miss toothpaste too. I love my teeth!!!

I do appreciate many conveniences & especially my toothpaste & toothbrush. I have brushed my teeth many times during the depression with baking soda & salt.
Don't need as much as we think we do of material things.
We are the lucky ones to enjoy having these things. Remember those who can't & count your blessings ~~~~

God forbid anyone should be forced to have any contact with nature or to use his imagination. Clearly, the great writers, thinkers and artists of the past led boring, pointless, miserable lives, while every single one of us is deeply fulfilled, since we have mascara and the internet.
