I would try a search for "general social survey research" or possibly the governent Census. There may even be something by the gallup poll that could help.

The percentage of households that are two income families is close to 100% these days. In the past one income was enough to cover all expenses. However thanks to our fiat (monopoly money) system, our government and the fed have been printing up counterfeit money at the mint like there is no tomorrow. The result is that the dollar is now essentially worthless and all family members will have to work as much as they do in third world countries just to pay for the bare essentials. Thank you laissez-faire for the corrupted plutocracy it has created!
