well my car was blowing out of all vents days ago ....i try today to turn the a/c on and it only comes out the defrost and the floor im so confused i need help?........

the car is a 1985 buick regal v6 3.8.....all the vents were working fine days ago and now it only blows out the defrost and floor i need help.....

This is the fail safe mode that happens when there is no vacuum to the unit.
There may be a vacuum hose off under the hood.
Without knowing any more about the make of car, this is all I can help with.

B from B is right. Not sure what kind of car you have, but a vacum leak will keep the vent doors from operating. They do it in my Jeep all the time.

ive had that problem in numerous old cadillacs, and i was always told that it was a vacuum leak.
