1.Xbox 360 - Is it worth it, 2. 360 Core System - Good?

1. I was thinking of trading in my PS2 and the games, and using the money i get for x-mas to buy a Xbox 360, is it worth it?

I was thinking of getting a 360 Core System, because I wont have the money to buy any other... How good is the Core System??

I think that you're making a big mistake by trading in your PS2( the best console of the previous generation) for a Xbox 360 core console.

You should save up your money for a PS3, becaue I don't know if you know, but the PS3 has some good games out now, and in 2008 will be the PS3's year for exclusive games: God of War 3, The Getaway 3, Socom Confrontation, Haze, Final Fantasy XIII, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5 and the list goes on.

The Xbox 360's still have the Red Ring of Death hardware problem, and you should stay away from it until Microsoft fixes the problem 100%.

Also, the Xbox Core console doesn't even come with a Hard drive for god's sake! You wont even be able to save games on it and that memory card that comes with the Core system can't even hold hardly any game save data.

The Core Xbox 360 costs $279.00 and when you buy the 20GB hard drive, that costs $99.00, so basically buy the time you buy the Xbox 360 Core console and the hard drive, you have already bought a 40GB PS3 for $399, and the PS3 has way more features and advanced technology, plus it comes with the Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray DVD.

The Xbox 360 is really a waste of money, go with the PS3, you wont regret it.

I have an Xbox 360 and back when I bought it, it was $430. It is worth the money because now they are only $350.

The Xbox 360 Core system is not as good as the regular Xbox 360 because the Xbox 360 Core system doesn't have nearly as much memory as the regular Xbox 360.

I don't know anything about the core system, but the 360 is better than the ps2 when it comes to internet playing and having some games like halo, otherwise, I think the ps2 is just fine.

Ya do that... all the 360's are the same (core, elite etc) the only difference is the extra stuff like more hard drive space etc. You can actually take a core and buy the extra parts to make it an elite for like $50. Just get one on ebay for like $400 (an elite).

My husband says that if you like RPG games then it is a good system. However he reccomends the xbox elite - he says it is of better quality
