It would be unfair to Peterson to sit him out the rest of the season, plus I'm sure he would not except that.

No, as a former running back who had to stop playing ball because of a serious knee injury at the college level I have got to say that any time you have a knee injury you need to sit out and make sure you are 100% healthy before you step back on to that field... your knees are important and there is no sense in risking your career for a few games when they likely wont even make the playoffs this year...
Look, as a football fan, The Packers have that division locked up and I don't think anyone else in the NFC North are going to snag a Wild Card... They need to sit the kid, or at least have him reduced to a minimum amount of carries... it's not worth risking a long term investment for something short terms that wont get them into the post season...
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm NOT saying sit him out the rest of the year, but DON'T make him the work horse and risk him re-injuring his knee when there is slim to no chance of making the playoffs...

I would let Taylor handle the job for now. Peterson is a tremendous talent, and it makes no sense to risk further injury to him since the Vikes are a playoff longshot, despite their lopsided win over the Gi-ants.

If they have a shot at making the playoffs and he wants to play then yes. If they have no shot at all and Adrian is not all that excited about getting back on the field, then I would just get him ready for next year and get him better than ever.

Only if he was for certain 100% healthy. Minnesota is going nowhere this year, no playoffs, so I wouldn't risk further injury or a more severe injury to Peterson unless he was at his best.

probably,
even though they are winning without him and it seems like they won't make the playoffs, the coach and orginazation has to give the fans and the team the illusion that they are committed to winning, no matter what, and that they haven't given up on the season.
The problem with him isthat no matter what he will probably end up on the shelf again. He is the most injury prone power back I have ever seen.

Adrian Peterson is injury prone. He has not made it through one season since high school that he hasn't been hurt.

Playoffs COULD be an option, and Peterson has a desire to play. I think you should, and watch more of his explosive carries.

Yes, because everyone saw what Reggie Bush did in his Rookie Season. Look at him this year. I think you should start him and let him pursue at least a 1,000 yrd running season

I think that he should play when he is ready..if that's this year then yes, if he isn't comfortable playing, then no....I actually picked them at the beginning the season to play in the Super Bowl because of him...he is amazingly good!
