I disolved a "Centrum from A to Zinc" multivitamin in water, looked at it under a 400X magnification and found these moving objects. (You may need to brighten your monitor to see the dark image.) The water alone did not have these things. It's definitely from the vitamin.

Can't say for sure, I'm not a chemist, biologist, nor can I really see the moving particles that well. However, it could very well be chemical / electro-magnetic reactions between the individual constituents of the vitamin, or between the constituents and the water, or probably both. Crushed up and mixed with water seems like the exchange of electrons would be freed-up so things could move around. I think these particles are too large for this, but a related topic would be 'brownian motion'.

Its not the vitamin. Its in the water. Its harmless. If you would like to see something similar, look at a scraping from your own skin.
