For some reason, I keep wanting to spell complexion with a "c" and a "t" instead of an "x"- complection. I don't know why... That's just what pops into my mind.
And there are others...
Ridiculous - Rediculous
hypocrisy - hypocracy
huh - hugh (TALK ABOUT A BRAIN FART! LOL)
But some of my worst misspelling moments are when I write/type according to how I pronounce words. Example: government - gument. LOL! Yes, I've actually done that before.

Once I figured out that "conscience" is nothing more than two words put together having no relation whatever to the meaning of the word, it was easy to spell. So, for all the fun loving, illogical thinking liberals out there it should be of comfort to you to know that our "con-science" is a product of "conservative science." I realize that I have evaded your question and to that I can say only that my wife is an exceptional speller and on call for all such matters.

It used to be independence.
I used to miss a couple of letters or spell it like I was somewhat dyslexic.
