School plays, pagents, etc., in 'keeping' with that seperation : What about the Tax Money spent for "FOOT WASHING FACILITIES" at TAX supported entities ???
HHUUUMMM, does this ol' codger see something that is not there?? Has my 'Gray Matter' gone off into another universe ?? Or as a friend stated " YOU ARE HAVING A SENIORS MOMENT" !!!! Is this an obvious indication / display of a "DOUBLE STANDARD"???
If I remember "WAY BACK " in the 1950's and 1960's when I was in the middle east, there was / is a religious entity, which 'requires / promotes foot washings, before prayer,' AND U.S.A. TAX MONEY WAS SPENT PUTTING IN THOSE FOOT WASHING FACILITIES, IN SOME UNIVERSITIES, AND PUBLIC PLACES !!!
How does OUR "Palutiticions" account for this ??

This is absolutely a double standard and there IS ABSOLUTELY NO REFERENCE in the US CONSTITUTION about any Separation of Church and State and Banning of Christmas Scenes
and anything pertaining to Christmas by the ACLU should be against the law and the ACLU should be immediately barred from the USA!!!

Separation only applies to all things Christian and Jewish. Yes it is a double standard. Why isn't the ACLU all in an uproar about this? Because they are opposed to Christianity and Judaism.

Edit: It's funny the way liberals use Separation when it suits their needs. Post the 10 Commandments outside an Alabama court house and they're screaming "Separation". Put tax funded foot-baths in airports for Muslims then it's "Show me the law saying 'Separation'". Not too much of a double standard...

Not really sure what you are ranting about but no tax money should be used for such things. There are plenty of churches to display Christmas scenes....it's not like we have a shortage of them. As for the foot washing thing, let them buy their own plastic tub.

How is a "foot washing facility" a religious display?

"The foot washing facilities are not about religion, they are about customer service and public safety. Davis points out if there are no facilities, Muslim students will have to wash their feet in bathroom sinks which he says is not sanitary and dangerous for the students."

Nothing prohibits Christians from using these facilities.

I have read and responded to a couple of your questions. In my mind they do not appear to display these great "Christian Values" we keep hearing about.

We have endured over 100 years of government sponsored monuments to Christianity. Maybe the government should erect some monuments to other religions for the next 100 years to make up for it.

Anyone that believes that the ACLU will not back a Christian or Jewish case just is not paying attention:

While this case was for a Muslim, it would also apply to an orthodox Jew as they also wear religious head coverings: http://www.aclu.com/religion/frb/29060prs20070315.html

From the anger displayed in your "question" I can't help but wonder if you drank some of that water. Lighten up. If this is all you have on your agenda this holiday season, I feel sorry for you.
