ive been trying to hook a wireless wouter at my grand parents house and the dam thing wont brodcast the SSID or any of the info. iv'e tryed to restre,reboot and rechange the wires on the router bu nuthing is working.... pleas help

Out of the box, if memory serves, WiFi is disabled.

Open your browser and go to http://192.168.0.1

That is the D-Link router interface.

Then, read the D-Link User Manual to log in and configure Wireless.

Is the WLAN light on? Also, if you can plug into the router directly with a network cable you can use a web-browser to verify settings. You may have a bad router, or just need to factory restore the router.

First you need to connect by cable, then follow the manual in accessing the web configuration interface and the wireless section. You then need to enable wireless, set an ssid and channel, also encryption.
