Sometimes, but not often enough, I find myself in my dreams back in a happier time. It is when we were a family of five and living in our last home together. When I awaken it all seems so real and I guess that is why that dream is repeated.

Only once. My dreams are usually frustrating or scary. I dream about tornado's, people breaking into the house, trying to call or reach someone and unable to do so. I often dream about buying a house that has an attic or basement full of glassware and antiques which would be a great thing to happen. I once had a dream about John Lennon. He and I laid in the back yard in a kids wading pool and he told me that I had to learn to enjoy the simple things.

Sometimes I have wonderful dreams and I don't want to wake up. I also dream about people who've passed on or I haven't seen in years. I love those dreams when everything is going right. However, I have my share of nightmares too, and I can never scream in my dreams. I open my mouth, but I can't scream and I fight to wake up. Even when I do wake up, I'm trying to scream and it's just a muffled sound.

I usually end up jumping on the bed & falling on the floor. That's how my dreams end. If not, then at some place on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere or locked in a basement of a high rise that has been slated for demolition. Yikes! I think thats a form of fun. It's never boring!

I have all sorts of dreams, some of them are bad, some are good, some are scary. I think dreaming is determined by what most inhibits your subconscious, so you must be remembering or thinking about them, or maybe you have a trigger that releases your memories. Maybe we do only exist in dreams after we die. The Aztec or Mayans (i forget, but its one of those two) believe there are three steps to dying- when your heart stops, when your soul leaves your body, and finally- when nobody lives on/ takes the time to remember you. They also believed that after you die you lived in a limbo- not awaiting to be resurrected, but to come back each year to visit loved ones.

Dreams! Well, mine are usually stressful. I'm either late for an essential meeting or I'm trying to dress and can't find proper clothing. Sometimes I'm looking for something that I really need and can't find it. Occasionally I'm being chased and I can't run fast enough and I'm really scared but that's mostly after a hot, spicy Mexican meal like maybe a chile relleno w/green.

Most of mine are nightmares & a lot are set in the house where I grew up. I don't sleep well, anyway, & I got to the point where I can wake myself up if the dream is going there.

Sometimes I have fun. Lately I have not been dreaming as much as usual or maybe I just dont remember them in the morning. But as long as they are not nightmares its cool.
