why oh why do people bother trying to help out these idiotic islamic banana republics?

these deluded do-gooders don't seem to understand that we are hated and despised by most of these people. They do not deserve any western assistance and continually bite the hand that feeds them. Let this be a lesson to all the fools who think that its in any way worthwhile helping out such fundamentalist morons. There's plenty of teaching and missionary work to be done in our own inner cities first.

There can be no logical argument by any intelligent person that to name a teddy bear Muhammed insults Muslims while naming thousands of children Muhammed does not. Both are physical manifestations being given the name, and surely a child's (or grown child's) actions do more to disgrace the name than a stuffed bear ever could. Even people who normally defend radical Muslims know that the rest of the world is completely out of Patience with such ridiculous Muslim actions as this.

I think the thing for the UK (and all nations not run by radical terrorists) to do is simply pull all their citizens out of Sudan and not give them any aid, communications, contact, or business of any kind for the next 40 years. Perhaps the next generation in Sudan will decide that they are willing to have responsible behavior in return for interaction with the rest of the world.

Many claim she should have known better. When someone is trying this hard to be offended, there is no way to prevent offense. They will invent anything to complain about. This is a clear cut case of abuse of authority. Before this came up, how many of us knew that "allowing" children to name a teddy bear that they love after a religious figure they love would be an insult to Muslims? None of us. If you can get offended by that, you can be offended by absolutely anything.

Eugene i'm a hundred% in settlement with you. maximum everyone seems to be only too dumb that they'll guard the folk who will execute them for an particularly litle subject. What annoys me is that its not even the instructor who noted as the submit to Myuhammed. Its between the babies and he turn into doing it innocently. despite if the instructor noted as the teddy submit to muhammed i visit on no account ever think of she had any undesirable purpose against islam. She could be doing it out of a real coronary heart and making up an consumer-friendly tale. yet Islamists are taking it on the incorrect facet thinking she is doing it on objective because of the fact she is a brit and so for that reason she must be punished in accordance to them. and that they are asserting islam is a faith of peace..Pah! i'm a hundred% specific that despite if the instructor noted as a teddy submit to Muhammed she had no undesirable intentions in anyway!

This is another idiotic over-reaction of the always over-sensitive "Muslim Pride" which finds offense on almost everything: Cartoons, Books (Rushdie), Films (Theo Van Gogh), Korans in the toilet, and now teddy bears!!!. I'm sick to my stomach of all these cry-baby politically correct PC horsecrap of "not offending" Islam.

The mainstream liberal media feasts on nonsense like these, labeling it "Teacher who offended Islam" (setting it up as a fact), instead of labeling it "Yet another example of Islamic intolerance and lunacy".

Our government has to stop helping these retarded misogynists racist dictatorships with taxpayer's money. If some idiotic bleading hearts individuals want to feel better helping fanatics, so be their own call. They should know where are going.

The UK should cut off all financial aid and all diplomatic relationships with these banana entities.

Oh my God !!! I've just noticed this post is using the name Mohammed!!! Would this also count as an "insult" to Islam??? We are invoking His name in vain!!!

Screw them.

That is all. End of my rant.

Indeed this teddy bear incident requires negotiation by her government, but the teacher concerned apparently lacked the maturity or cultural sensibility to avoid the problem. That doesn'tmake this charge acceptable, but it is foreseeable .. sadly. I don't htink that avoiding teaching in SUdan is the answer, but clearer cultural trainign onboth sides is important .. and don't forget this teacher was teaching at as school for well-off kids... I doubt that "missionary work" is a good description of what she was doing.

The allied forces should have taken care of the Sudan problem long ago and this kind of crap would not continue to happen.

Gordon Brown should hold up a replica, dump gasoline on it, call it Muhammad and lit it on fire

and It has nothing to do with respecting their laws. If the same person did that in UK then the streets would be filled with the toweltheads protesting in our streets as well breaking the laws of Britain.

pull all personnel and money from Sudan, and give them the book "Technological Innovations Of The 11th Century For Dummies"

I can't believe the Sudanese people watch flies crawling in the eyes of their starving children, and they get mad at a British teacher over this and not their govt for murdering them. Unbelievable.

The U.K should remind their citizens not to go out to backward Islamic countries and teach them anything. There are plenty of poor countries in Africa that would treasure a decent teacher. It is up to U.K citizens to check their sanity before going to such countries. Anyway if Muhammed is not as cuddly as a teddy bear then it's Islam's loss...call him Buddha instead...Buddha would be glad of such love and affection.

teddy bear is an inanimate object; this is considered an insult to the prophet.

FYI, even if the bear was real, the teacher would still be in trouble. Naming an animal after the prophet is also a no-no, since humans are higher in Allah's creation than animals. To name a lesser being after the prophet would be an insult.

The teacher is responsible for everything that happens in his/her class room. it doesn't matter who named the bear..

its like a cop finding marijuana in a car. it doesn't matter who's marijuana it was, it was in you car, so you are responsible for it.
