I'm thinking...you know those situations where you're fighting and you feel mean and what to say something below the belt?
Then would be a good time.
OR
when you're fighting and you want to be mean and throw OLD stuff in the other person's face? Also a good time to stay mum.

YES~
When something is obvious on a person there's no need to so tell them something they already know.
For example:
I was shopping last weekend and there was a man who was burned very badly on more than half of his face and a few girls,I want to say they were in there 20's were standing by and said very loudly "Oh my God Look at his face"
although they weren't speaking to him they said it loud enough for him to hear and embarrass him, now that was better left unsaid!

ive had severeal reactions to situation, but decided to keep schtump, to keep the peace and not make things worse, even when ive been right.
