fur is always a hot topic
"man has always used animal skins for warmth"
vs. "inhumane treatment of raised animals for fur"
furthermore, forget about animal rights!
what about animal lefts?

first of all, I am guessing that this is a persuasive paper.
Instead of writing about something as broad as "animal rights", focus on ONE SPECIFIC area of animal rights that interests you. Some possibilities are:
Cosmetic Testing
Phareceutical testing
Endangered Species
Dog Fighting (this one is especially good, because you can bring wealth vs. morality into the discussion about Michael Vick from the Atlanta Falcons)

I am currently a Sophomore in college.

I hope this helps!

The above answer on animal testing is a great idea. You might also consider the fur industry, the farm-factory industry (they grind male baby chicks up and feed them to the other animals-ick!), or perhaps even simple meat-eating.

What about zoo and circus animals being caged and taken out of their natural habitat for human amusement?
