Not really. I worked with special needs kids in the local school system. It was quite time consuming. I had to be in school every day of the school year, and sometimes the teachers had me do things that were not even my responsibility. I miss the kids and I miss the money, but nothing else. I'm glad to have the time to myself, which I badly needed. I retired from this job last June. I do work some weekends teaching knitting at a craft store.

I had to stop working because of a disability and poor health and oh hell yes I miss it !

After my accident I worked in Media Advertising for awhile until I couldnt do it anymore and it has to be one of the best jobs there is, good pay and the perks are fantastic - free concert tickets, free tickets to everything, the ballet, movie premieres, you meet tons of facinating people, you get good discounts everywhere you go, and you dont stand in line ups to get into clubs etc. not when you handle their advertising and your magazine does dining, clubbing, music reviews etc.

I loved it ! And now - nnnnttt -life is so boring and lonely . Not to mention the loss of income - if I could turn the clock back and call in sick the day the roof fell in --

oh well if wishes were horses beggars would ride

I spent 20 years 31 days in the military and only miss the comradely and not the long hours and transfers around the world to set up again.

No schedule kept.

Yes... in a big way!
I try to keep a schedule, but it's hard to do! I was in a motorcycle accident and it has left me in a lot of pain... we are still working on it. Staying strong is hard at times. So, I do the best I can. But, yes, I'm a people person and I do so miss everyone... I like to sit and watch people now, they are all so interesting to me. In a restaurant I always sit where I can watch a little one! Oh hell....

Yes. If wishes were fishes I'd be in a school. My schedule is an open book. I keep some things & let others go.

I'm retired from my professional career, but working a FT job in a less demanding job...and yes, I often miss it...I was a life skills coach and substance abuse counselor and worked with some really great families and it was just awesome and gratifying not to mention a blessing to see them grow, move on, purchase homes etc.

A few still keep in touch with me and it makes my heart warm :-)

Never for even one minute. Occasionally I miss the money part though. Some would be handy for that new Lexus I have my eye on. Ha!

No I don't. I worked for a pediatrician and was chronically ill from the kids. I have done volunteer work with American Red Cross, so I truly enjoy that.

I miss parts of it, but not the changes in management over the last few years. I'm glad I'm out.
