To Doc Watson and SuzyQ:
I believe that everyone gets their due, it may take longer than others but things do balance out in the end, if only in a spiritual sense then things will be righted and just.

I may not have much on a materialistic level to brag about but I can at least honestly say that I don't own anyone anything, not a dime, not a dollar.
As to paying the piper (paying our dues) on a more philosophical, karmic or spiritual level, I think often that I've paid my dues many times over and can only wonder when I'll start seeing a more positive return on those dues that have been paid.
Sometimes I think the piper is tone death.

Many times over! Just when I get caught up....new bill! I guess you will always owe fate something. The trouble is ...some people pay their debts and others never seem to! LOL
