Is the ending in the movie "No Country for Old Men" exactly the same as the ending in the book?

I never read the book....If I did I would of been more mad then I was after watching the movie....

The undesirable guy who's injured --broken arm and busted up, gets away. He paid one in all the two childrens on the bicycles for his shirt and limps off -- i assume with the money hidden someplace he can retrieve it-- and Tommy Lee Jones retires. .
