There are loads of reasons you feel run down. Stress Depression for 2. however you mention a beer and I wonder if it is a yeast/ candida problem.
Do you crave/eat a lot of sugar? Have you had antibiotics recently? If this sounds kinda familiar i would suggest a low/no sugar diet for a few months along with multi-vitamins and a good probiotic tablet. The probiotic yoghurts are ok but the tablets are much better. The local health food store will have some in stock. They are very good. Try eating just fresh vegetables and natural foods. If you need sugar then try bananas as they release energy slowly. Avoid all processed foods and including things like sliced bread as they have sugar in, also vinegar and sorry, alcohol. See how you go.
Good luck

It's possible that you are allergic to yeast, which beer contains. When you have a yeast infection, your body becomes bloated, very tired and run down and you can become prone to getting allergies and infections easily....
You could try a no yeast diet where you at least cut down on beer, bread and sugars, and take plenty of yoghurt with acidophilus which helps to get rid of the yeast infection in your body....
If no luck there, you must try another Doctor and have tests done to get to the bottom of the problem. Good Luck!

Are you on the pill by any chance? That made me feel that way, so I had to stop taking it.

You should start exercising if you aren't already. Although it may be hard to get started feeling run down already, it will pay off in the end. You will sleep better and end up with more energy. Even taking a 1/2 hour brisk walk each day will make a big difference.

Just a guess but it could be yeast in the intestine. I went to a friend of mine who is a nutritionist for an eval because I was having similar problems and after going through an extensive questionnaire she told me to take acidophiles daily. It worked. The bloating went away and I was digesting my food properly and feel like I have more energy now. The beer just adds to the problem.

You sound like the ladies on the TV ad for a certain yogurt . . .

Seriously, you could give the yogurt a try, also try not eating white bread or things made from white flour. For feeling rundown I usually get a bottle of revolting vitamin "tonic" (seven seas). It tastes disgusting but it really does boost you up.

If no progress after a few weeks you could suggest to your doctor to look into coeliac disease? Symptoms are slow to develop with that and most people don't recognise it for a long time.

Maybe if you tried walking 20 minutes per day this could help.
Do you have other symptoms? Has your weight increased? Are you constipated? Are you sleeping well? Do you snore?
Do you have seasonal affective disorder due to the time change?
are you able to drink 8 glasses of water per day?
Take a couple of days and get some exercise and try to stay off much food. Drink only water and fresh fruits.
Follow up with your doctor.

Exercise is important. It releases endorphins which elevates your mood and makes you look sprightly. Do not push yourself too hard. Start at a slower pace and then gradually build up according to how much you can tolerate. Keep a constant pace thereafter and u will see a difference. Maintain a good diet. For that i advice you see a dietician. Getting started is the most difficult part but once you have started do not stop abruptly........
