Nope, not wierd. I am in the same boat.
Sex is very important when you don't get it enough & not important when you do.

Sex is very important in a relationship. Not as important as communication and understanding, but it is right up there. It isn't weird that you want it more than your husband. Trust me that there are other women out there the same as you. It is just more common that it is the other way around that's all.

it's very important, but it's not everything. there are times when you can't have sex in a relationship for various reasons - someone may even get injured permanently making sex impossible - and you have to decide how handle it. will you be mature about it or will you pout and seek sex elsewhere? it's everything else in a marriage that makes the relationship sustainable and not purely about sex.
right now, you want it more than your husband and aren't getting as much as you want. but, are you having sex? is it enjoyable? is the connection there? if the answer to these is yes, then you don't have a problem. unless you've just stopped having sex completely or don't feel attracted to your mate, there's nothing weird or detrimental going on.

No not weird. Very often two people's sex drives don't match. I had a girlfriend (I'm female) who never got enough from her husband so she went elsewhere for it. In other relationships of my friends they haven't had sex in years. Not the way I would want it. I think it's important but more important is being friends.

It's not weird. It happens.
Right now my drive is higher than my husbands - I am just about killing him. But 5 years ago it was the other way. They go up and down.
To answer your first line, YES it is VERY important.

Sex is like air. It becomes very important when you're not getting any.
Sex is also the most intimate form of communication possible between two people. For two people in love, it can create a lack of communication.

I want it more than my husband too!! Most guys would say that's weird because it's usually them that want it all the time. I think in my situation I am at my prime and he hit his a long time ago. I am 32 and he is 34!

I have answered this numerous times. My answer remains the same. I enjoy sex just as much if not more than anyone else out there. However, I feel that if you truly love someone then you could spend your life with them without ever touching them. What if something happens to your spouse that medically prevents them from having physical contact? A detail like this might just define your marriage.
