Continue to live my life.

Actually if you are sincerely asking this I understand what you are saying. I have lived in a city with a black mayor and after he won the election, I wondered how it would be. The answer was much the same.

Everyone has some racial or ethnic prejudice in them.

Barack Obama would be an excellent president. As a constitutional law professor, he knows and respects the law. He is very even tempered, and knows how to get people to reach a consensus. It would be a real change from the current administration, and the change in color would be insignificant.

Nothing different. I don't care if the President is black or white. The only thing we can hope is that the President has the best interests of Americans in mind as he or she makes decisions.

If there is or will be a Black President of USA,the whole world would celebrate and respect US for that act.
Long ago. Irving Wallace had written a novel titled "THE MAN"!There the black president's humanitarian acts win over his staunchest critics!

If this country votes into office a black person I would, live every day as I do now. It would make no difference. That would be the person legally elected by the majority of people in this country. He would be my President. I would expect him to do his job as I have expected all the persons holding the office to.

This is the problem...we label one another with skin color. who cares about race/gender etc. what needs to matter is the capability of a president. skin color does not determine how well a president will be. the question shouldnt be about race it should be about capability.
i do not care if our next president is white, black, male, female, christian, mormon etc just as long as they get this country back on track

The same thing I am doing now. Sit at work on Yahoo Answers. In a broader sense, I would live my life and hope he does a good job running our country. The same hope i would have for a president of any 'race'.

If the Black President's political philosophy was similar to mine, I would support him.

Nothing. I don't care about the president's race, all that matters is they can be a good president.

Same thing I always do. What difference would the color of his skin make?

This is America, we are all colors, remember grade school, the melting pot?

Well some of us still believe that it should, can, and will work.

But then again is this guy a Liberal or a conservative?
