I like older cartoons too....the best place to start is TV shows on DVD.com (link below) . Walmart sells some of the DVDs but they are not always complete and chronological collections (I bought one of the looney tunes collections there). The website I mentioned tells you when they are expected to come out or if it is already out when that happened as well as buying information for the particular season you are looking for. You have to register but it is free and actually lets you save stuff you are looking for or like.

I live in Santa Cruz (CA)! I have a few VHSs of those old black & whites. Call East Cliff Video (831-462-0707), ask if they have (or will be having) any for sale.
Also find the names of the small video stores on Hwy 9 (Felton, Boulder Creek) and give them a try.

there is a channel called boomerang in my local cable package, it airs classic hanna barbara cartoons. If hanna barbara is doing it, that means that looney toons has got to be tossing the idea around somewhere too. Ask you cable subscriber

A lot of times WalMart carries old cartoons. Also if you aren't near a WalMart check out Ebay.

I used to really like pink panther as a kid, and old spider-man cartoons. I would always be excited for Saturday's and get up real early just to watch them! When U find out let me know.

Yes, I love the old comics and cartoons too. I think you won't see them around much anymore because of the political correctness regulations, history is in the process of being censored or rewritten.

Popeye is my favorite! Hes awsome! If you get satalite tv they still air late at night, like at 3:00am. If you have a DVR or Tevo you could do a search for them and when they come on, then set DVR record timers!

You should try to download them off the internet. If you can't find it then check the movie store you'd be surprised all the dvd's they have out now from years and years ago.

Unfortunately, they were removed by those ( the networks) who considered them too violent!...Now look at anime and tell me which is worse, Wylie coyote falling off the cliff or Gundam wing slicing and dicing? This might help: http://www.archive.org/details/classic_cartoons
