My joystick needs adapter?

do joysticks have adapters?
my joystick wont fit in so is there like a adapter i can get to make it fit and if there is list the names of adapters

From what kind of joystick plug, to what sort of port? Won't fit into what? Heavy on questions, cloud-light on details.

If you need Gameport to USB, a Radio Shack store would have those.

Nope....if you are referring to the old style din connector then no....theres no gameport to usb adapter....
if your system lacks the game port then you can either get a usb joystick or get a sound card installed that has it on there...
