Well, you have to figure that they were still basically living in the Stone Age. The Aztecs were much more advanced, and with their propensity for warfare and conquering it's neighbors, (looking for slaves and sacrifices), it was only a matter of time before they moved north and began preying on the North American Indians. Even so, it would have been some time, if ever, before they stopped fighting among themselves. Without European intervention and education, North America would never have become industrialized and advanced as a part of modern civilization.

If you're truly interested read:
Jared Diamond's
Guns, Germs, and Steel:
The Fates of Human Societies
Diamond is a Pulitzer Prize winning author who has provided me with the best explanation of human development. It's a lengthy read; so wait until you have a couple days to devote your full attention to his work.
To give you a quick synopsis, I would say the Natives would still be a tribal culture living amongst relatively small populations. Civilization would still be "underdeveloped" according to western standards. The reason being their environment. Diamond, and I agree, that levels of development do not indicate superior intelligence. Instead, development is a product of enviroment.
A quick example:
Civilization tended to develop most quickly across a East-West axis, as opposed to a North-South axis. The reason being is that lattitude is more constant than longitude. Simply, England is more similiar to the Fertile Crescent (were civilization began) than Ohio is to Mexico City. Culture, Innovations, Technology spread more quickly East to West than North to South. For instance, corn took thousands of years to evolve, while grapes, almonds (in the Middle East and Western Europe) took a few hundred. The same is true for military technology, religion, etc. Also, Europe was competing for less resources per capita, which sped development. If you truly wish to know more, read Diamond's book. It's excellent. Forgive my poor hurried illustration.

like i said before
well that's a good question one i ponder all the time. well if the whites never took over any lands and the world was at peace. different cultures would be crammed together in there own territories not willing to fight anyone else. the technology would also not be up to standereds because we never took over other lands and adapting there technology.

The thing is that we would still be stuck in Europe. Population would be sooooooooo much more crowded.
This would also mean that we wouldn't have developed nearly as far technologically as we have now... we would most likely think the Earth was flat still...
