Hi
'This is not easy really to answer, due to the fact there are in the middle stages of becoming a women. Some blieve when a girl gets her period shes a women .other believe that when the start to hit 16 they are a women. A 14 year olds a teenaged girl starting to look dress and act like ayoung women. So i guess it is all the way the girl feels. say she feels like shes a growing women they so be it. Mentally girls mature faster then guys do anyways.

Interesting that you asked, and then disliked the 'no' answers and gave them a 'thumbs down'. If you didn't want to hear opinions, why did you ask in the first place?

'Woman' is a subjective term. It means different things to different people. It's a measure of maturity, and it's impossible to define. SOME 14 year olds are more like women than like girls, and some are not.

No that's why when 18 year old guys who have sex with teenage girls go to jail for child molestation(rape).
Starting puberty (getting a period and growing breasts) is the beginning of developing into a woman.

It depends. It is said that Mary, Jesus' mother was fourteen at the time of Jesus' birth. Also until last year, the earliest marriage could be performed was fifteen - I don't think that 'children' get married fully aware. I believe that you are a young adult and depending on how mature you are, you could well be an adult. When you're eighteen you are officially and lawfully an adult but I believe that at sixteen I am a grown woman.

in your question you said 14 year old GIRL. theres your answer. no shes not technically a woman until the business world. its weird but in college usually youre a "young lady".

*edit* ok seriously do you go around saying 14 year old WOMAN? um no...you don't. and you know I just proved the point that shes NOT a woman yet, thats why you changed your question. because its not the answer you wanted? then why did you ask it anyways?

If she acts, dresses and talks like a woman, I think it's fair that she earns the right to be called one.

no i think a girl becomes a woman in her early twenties....when they pay bills....hold a serious relationship....live on there own....dont depend on men or there parents.....oh and the mentality also.......the way a person looks or dresses does not define womanhood...im 21 and i look much younger.....because i take care of myself.....i do consider myself to be a woman cuz i do pay my own bills and i do have a steady job and live on my own and i am on my way to an engagment

a 14 year old girl is still just a child! You're not a woman until you reach your 20's, get married and have begin a family.
