I'm giving my husband a ski pass to Mt. Hood, rental ticket, and a night at a motel... I figure he could use some fun in his life, along with a nice weekend snowboarding! He's going with my brother, they should have fun! Snowboarding is his passion in life, and he's given it up for 4 years now since we've had kids

I already have everything I need, so she couldn't really buy me something to blow my mind....
Maybe let me play thre back 9 for a change - that would be a new adventure :)

for her to understand that gift certificates to our favorite stores are perfectly acceptable. We like them. We think it's a wonderfully personal gift. We think she put plenty of thought into what she should get us and we know how much time she put into going out and getting it for us. We think it's just the right size and it doesn't look small under the tree at all. But we know that in the end we'll get a very personal gift that she put a lot of time and effort into getting us and spent hours getting to and from the mall. It wasn't something we asked for....EVER.....but we know that she was right when she decided it was just what we needed. And we want her to put up the tree by herself. Decorating sucks :)
