That stupid "no video camera rule"

I'm just kidding people. Really I think the timeout rule needs to be looked at closer.

The OT rules need to give BOTH teams and opportunity to have the ball. Whether that be a 5th period that goes the length no matter how many scores occur or a system that simply gives both one possession.

I also agree that the celebration penalties have just gotten ridiculous. Getting in someones face is one thing but spiking the ball or doing a little (keyword little) dance is part of the fame, let's put some fun back into it.

What? You did not write rule to many times. You write it once. Now to answer your question I would have the NFL have the same overtime as they do in college football and high school football. The current overtime is pathetic as whoever wins the coin toss wins the game as once they get into field goal range they kick a field goal. That is the only rule I would change.

It would be the "emphisis" on illegal contact. That rule took away a lot of the physicality and bumping that made wideout / CB matchups fun to watch. It also had the effect of shifting power from the Pats to the Colts without either team really changing all that much.

It's funny to see the Pats kind of change more towards the old Colts MO and the Colts kind of change towards the Pats old.

The pass interference call- not that it exists but I don't think it should be the spot of the foul. Just because the reciever is in position to catch the ball doesn't mean that the reciever will catch the ball. I think it should be 1st down and spot of the foul if the yardage is less than 20 and 20 yards if it is greater than 20 or some form like that.

I would change the unwritten rule of running up the score, then the Patriots would have already broken 1998 Vikings scoring record. Go Patriots woo hoo

The coaches challenge. This was a poor decision. There should be no red flag, it shouldn't be a timeout. There should be a video ref in the booth, basically reviewing everything. This should not be a coach responsibility.

NCAA overtime rules should apply.

Get rid of the rule that makes it a capital offense to hit the quarterback. IT"S FOOTBALL, not jacks. Roughing would still be a flag, but nowadays, they throw the laundry if a defender even looks at a QB crosswise.

I would take out pass interference so that there is a bit of a scrap down feild so the WR can push the cover over and visa versa !
