I had the same problem - was like 20 pounds heavier than I should've been. Snacked on apples, baby carrots, cottage cheese. And drank a lot of water, even if was not thirsty. Worked with me - I only gained 17 pounds throughout whole pregnancy. Good luck!

I am 19 weeks pregnant with #2 and I am also overweight. I have been opting for more fruits and veggies than crackers and cookies. I drink more water and stopped sodas and sugary drinks. Those few changes have made a difference and I don't have gestational diabetes which I'm happy about. I've already lost 6 pounds because I'm eating the right foods. Nuts are a good snack too and give you a lot of energy. If I'm really hungry, I'll make a small/half peanut butter and jelly sandwich which is better than eating a bag of chips or a hamburger. Don't cut out everything because then you might miss it too much. When you want something, get it, but don't eat a lot of it or share it with someone else. Hope this helps!

Carrot sticks with ranch dressing,
Celery with peanut butter,
a handful of almonds
apples (they are pretty filling)
a few pretzel sticks with raisins
Try to slow down while you eat. Sit at the table (no standing in the kitchen and snacking) and put your hands on your lap after each bite. While you are chewing, think about what you are tasting. Also, don't refuse to splurge! Every night, allow yourself one special treat. Whether it is a small piece of chocolate or a scoop of sorbet. Heck, you are carrying a baby...you deserve a little something!!

I feel ya on this one. I am nine weeks pregnant and overweight. Thanks to nausea, all I have been able to stomach here as of lately is fruit. I know you probably hate to hear this but it is the best route. Fruits and veggies!!! Pretzels, crackers, sherbert are a few others that would be okay. Just use your head! Try to avoid too much of processed sugar and fat, etc.

There might desire to be some thing to what Bonnie reported. Your weight loss software does sound uninteresting. i like to flow from counting energy or fat grams to counting carbs or grams of sugar. It particularly alterations up your on an well-known basis menu. Low carb might properly be very restrictive, yet low calorie might properly be too counting on how long you do it. Salads could have a ton of hidden energy in the event that they have cheese or creamy/ oily dressings. perchance you're eating extra suitable than you recognize.

Fruits & veggies that don't give you gas or make you bloated. I like green apples & celery with peanut butter or raisin bran crunch with soy milk. Drink a glass of water or fruit juice prior to snacks/meals to help curb your appetite..... maybe a handful of nuts or lite popcorn.
