Should I trade out my XBOX 360 for a PS3?

I enjoy the 360, but I am considering selling my xbox and getting a PS3...

The 360 has a much better gaming selection and online play. Playstation 3 has nothing to offer you, maybe good graphics but the better choice is to stick with your 360 and have fun with your friends online.

try these games: Halo 3, Call Of Duty 4, Assasins Creed, Bioshock, Gears of War, and others.. there all great games

Yes, I think that you are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I think that you should trade in that faulty Xbox 360 for a more advanced, and more reliable console.

Now that the Xbox 360's big games like Halo 3 have come out, there's really nothing else left for the Xbox 360 for a long while. I don't even know of any big Xbox 360 exclusive games other than Halo Wars and possibly Gears of War 2.

In 2006-2007, almost all of the PS3's exclusive games were brand new franchises: Heavenly Sword, Resistance Fall of Man, Motorstorm, Lair, Folklore, etc...

The Sony hasn't even released it's biggest games yet that are sure to make the PS3 the hottest console of 2008: God of War 3, The Getaway 3, Gran Turismo 5, Tekken 6, Socom Confrontation, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Resistance Fall of Man 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Haze, Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Online,Motorstorm 2 and the exclusive game list just goes on.

Seriously, can you think of the same number of big exclusive games for the Xbox 360 for 2008 that I listed for the PS3?

The PS3 has more built in features, it's got more advanced technology, it has a good selection of games now, it's the better buy, and has better exclusive games coming in the future.

The PS1 and PS2 didn't sell over 100 million consoles each for nothing. Sony will regain the top position and you will want to have a PS3 when that happens. I think that you should dump the Xbox 360 and get a PS3 and "Play Beyond".

Absolutely. The PS3 is a far superior system in my mind. Remember 33% of all 360's breakdown and need repair. this is a FACT. I own both and since i got my PS3 I hate my 360 with a passion.

PS3... here is why (I own both systems)

Any PS3 other than the 40gb has Full backwards compatability with PS2 and PS1 games (360 uses software emulation as opposed to hardware emulation which means about 33% of original xbox titles will play on the 360) The PS3 hard drive is removable and upgradable to whatever size you want. Other than the Elite (120 gb) the 360 either has no hard drive or a 20gb hard drive that can only work with the 360. This is also important because with the PS3 you can download content from the games to the hard drive and cut down on load times. This is not possible with the 360 b/c of the low end that has no memory card. the PS3 has built in Wi FI adapter. To get the for the 360 its an add on that cost $100.00. Only the 360 elite has HDMI out of the box where as all PS3 have HDMI. Also, the PS3 has a built in Blu Ray player. To get an HD DVD player for the 360 will cost you $179.99 extra. The PS3 has more USB slots (7 to 3) The PS3 has a hook up out of the box to run on multiple TV sets for true split screen gaming. The PS3 has free online play (49.99/yr on 360). SO as you can see 499.99 for a PS3 is a much better deal considering it will cost you about 600-700 to get an equivalent out of a 360. Also, the PS3 argument that the games arent as good is over now because its been a year and all the big titles are starting to drop. God Of War 3, Metal gear 4, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo etc... Oh yeah the PS3 has a built in internet browser also the 360 doesnt.....The Ps3 also doesnt have a high failure rate. The fact of the matter is 33% of all 360's have failed and need repair. Im on 360 #4 right now. The 360 is alos very loud and sounds like an air conditioner running. The Ps3 is quiet as can be. I just think the PS3 is more of an all around system. Not to mention they are beta testing using the PS3 as a DVR in Europe and as a TV tuner in Japan. The 360 can do neither. Multi Platform games now look similar or better on the PS3. The reason is the PS3 has a harder learning curve for developers and they are just now figuring out how to get the best out of it. In my mind the PS3 can be the center of your entertainment hub where as the 360 is basicly a limited gaming console that breaks down alot. I own both and I prefer my PS3. Besides that there are alot of great games foe the PS3 now. COD4, Tekken, Lair,Folklore,Time Crisis, Uncharted and much more.... I say go PS3...Like I said to get the same features from a 360 that the PS3 comes with out of the box is going to run you an extra 300-400 bucks... Not to mention if you dont buy the Elite you cant get HDMI...

Yes my friend you should and here is why:

1. Get a 60gb version you may not see it but there is a lot of difference, the 40gb dosen't acutually have metal parts. The metal parts are painted. Also the top PS3 title isn't risen metal it is again just painted on.

2. Think how different you will be. When your talking with your mates you can feel proud to be one of the growing members of what I like to call the 'PS3 owners club'.

3. Have you had any problems with the Xbox? You will be lucky if you havent because all my mates who have Xbox's have either had the Red Ring of Death or another problem.

4. I got my PS3 2 days after relase and it hasnt broken on me yet not once. It was a very early model so I was quite supprised to see this.

5. Think of the great experiance you will have on PS3. If you sign up for internet play you will be able to download Home when it comes out. I don't konw if you have seen it yet but check it out. Plus its free. There are also a few PS3 games that top the great games list. Like COD 4 I have completed it and the levels where amazing. I dont want ot spoil it for you so I cant say much but its good. Assasin's Creed is an amazing game. The graphics and idea top the best this year so far. Resistance FOM has some amazing online gameplay along with Warhawk. Not to mention the bext game out on it yet.. Oblivion The Elder Scroll's. This was my first PS3 game and is still my fave. Just wait till Final Fantasy comes out. It will push the PS3 to the boundries of gaming

No you should not, really the 360 has so many more amazing games, like halo 3 ect. and the graphics are not that much better if they are better at all on the PS3 and even though you have to pay for online, the online is so much better on the xbox, in terms of finding games and playing people of your skill level

right now the PS3 is not the best... it currently doesn't have games that are better than the 360. So i would wait a little longer until the the good games get released n plus the PS3 would cost less.

if u want the 360 exclusives then keep the 360 if u want the ps3 ones then sell it and get the ps3

I know i might not change your mind and others are going to go against me on this...but you should keep you xbox, more games and a better community online(both ps3 and xbox have trashtalkers keep in mind). Yes the ps3 has free online but what can you really do online. The xbox has more features and downloadable demos and content for you games. So I say stay with your xbox. Have fun with whatever you choose.

but it really depends on the games u enjoy.
most PS3 and XBox games come out for both platforms and i think the graphics on the xbox are better
