I guess there are different endings for different people, If you not looking for a relationship and all you want it friendship then it is possible to find your soul mate...I have friends I have known for 10 years! In the sense of a relationship I am still looking (West Mids) I guess you know when you have found that person as you smile more, enjoy life more and have someone to take care of for a very long time.

HARD QUESTION TO ANSWER!
Okay Obviously everyone that is with someone thinks that he or she is their soul mate. BUT honestly if you were to loose the person that you are currently with (and this is not for those who have been with their spouse umpteen years and are older than dirt) but say for example...I am with my "soul mate" he's perfect for me and I am perfect for him. We can finish each others sentences and know everything about each other. How to make each other happy or mad (LOL) every little thing that makes each other tick we know about each other. I love him with ALL my heart and soul and will be with him till our dying days! BUT if something horrible was to happen to him, because we are not promised tomorrow, then is that it for me can I not love again?? NO I am sure that their would be someone else down the line after I have grieved for my lose that would come along that I could love just as much as I love him...so a soul mate is someone that loves you for you unconditionally no matter what and you do the same for them!!!!! Not saying that their is only one out there for everyone and you only get one chance!

I guess the question at hand is who is still with their soul mate? I met a man fell deeply in love with him we laughed together, cried together, enjoyed each other. He was my best friend. After 10 great years he got hooked on pain pills and then started mixing it with drinking. I watched my best friend slip away into a place of darkness and depression. There was nothing I could do because his doctor was his dealer. After two long years of verbal battering and him assaulting my children he packed up and left us. Was he my soul mate? I believe he was. I think about him and wonder how he is doing often. He just disappeared, I never heard from again.

I don't know about soul mates. I just know I love my husband. Even if he gets on my nerves, i still love him, he makes me mad i still love him. We are often out of sync I still love him. We like different things i still love him. I don't know what a soul mate is, and don't know what that feels like. I just know I love my husband and wants to be with him and no one else. Even if one day, my soul mate showed up at my front door and we are in sync on everything. I still want to be with my husband. The man that half of the time don't know what i am talking about, and the other half of the time is watching sports. But he loves me for me.

can say i have!! but a soul mate isn't someone you go looking for try to make everyone you come across. your soul mate is that one that you have more than a connection with their more than a friend...yea your soul mate maybe diff. from you but in away they are you thats why you click so well. your soul mate is the one who all the things that work your last nerve they can do but you find it silly or not so bad any more

I don't believe in soul mates, as like there is only one person out there for me. When I was little I thought it was romantic to think that. Now I think its sad. What if your soul mate dies at a very young age? Then you would spend the rest of your life unhappy and alone. To me that is depressing. I am married to a wonderful man and I love him with all of my heart and I know he feels the same way. But if something was to happen to either one of us I would like to think that one day we could feel love again.

I dont believe in soulmates...
Im getting married to the most wonderful man, and we both love eachother so much, we work hard on our relationship, we put eachothers needs before our own, and I can't imagine choosing anyone else to build an endless loving realtionship and family with. But if he were to die, and I moved on one day there may be another man who would be perfect for me as well, just in a different, way.
That doesnt mean our less is worth any less simply because I wont call him my one and only soulmate...to me it means it is worth more because I have chosen him and he has chosen me, even though there are many others out there that may fit us so well, and we have promised to be with eachother until the end, and that makes us both so happy.
Just my point of view.
