come in this section and answer questions that they do not believe in, in a sarcastic manor. I know its an open forum, but that just seems like they are looking to be mean to people.

I have a great interest in mythology and folklore, even studied them in college.
That does not mean I support pseudoscience, like astrology.
Many people here do not post about mythology and folklore but about pseudoscience like astrology.
It should be noted there are boards for things other than folklore and mythoology that those pseudosciences belong to, including boards like "dream interpretation."

I too am very interested in mythology of different countries. Some people do need to make themselves feel better so they pick on things like this. Stuff you have to really get into and think about in order to get into that world. Something that requires an attention span longer than say, two minutes. If that much.

I love mythology. I think the issue is that too many people see the internet as a safe way to anonymously tear things down without taking responsibility for what they say. For some, this seems to be a hobby!

I love it and it's really sad that almost no one else show interest in it.
I think it because most of the people are too down to earth and just can't get lost in the unbelieavable for a moment. They rather discuss about politics and religion, but what the difference. so many things In this forum are way real then that stuff.

The folk who have no interest in the subject matter, just can't push themselves. I find that this Mythology & Folklore is incredibly entertaining. I wish you well.

we are a select few, we should stick together, and be proud of being a part of such a close-nit community, "mean" people are just jelous becuase they wish they were on the same level as us, but they just dont understand

Generally, I find that there's fewer trolls in this section than in any other in S & C. Ironic really when you think about it :)
