Yesssss !! It's funny isn't it? We ought to test it by using some real weird words. Like Hemorrhoid !!!! How about Pop and Fresh?

I didn't notice them at all for the longest time. Once I did a survey on toothpaste here and said I'd never seen that brand advertised. Later I saw that they did put an ad to the side for that brand. lol Then someone mentioned how the ads change depending on key words. I still forget about them most of the time, guess I'm not a very good customer. lol

Speaking of glasses I never noticed, mine are 15 years old, I need new ones very soon, been wearing them since I was 10 so fifty years of wearing them probably automatically helps me to be blind to stuff I am not interested in at the moment. Now I will be looking at the adverts all the time.

Yep. Noticed this many moons ago. It's called Marketing Research. Mind Control at it's finest? I ignore it as much as possible, yet I DO think it's worth a laugh now & then to see what pops up in conjuction with what you write & post. Hilarious!

We've become a nation of sales people.
I first noticed it when I was telling a lady about squeezing tomatos to get seeds for my garden.You can get any where from 50 to 75 plants from a single tomatoe. Suddenly all these seed company's appeared.

They use webcrawlers to check for specific words in the page, then the advert searches for pages on the net based around those words... and there you go!
