It is possible to get a new one for that money - it's NOT possible to get a 'good' one, though.

If you are only going to use it to pass your test, why bother with a cheap new one? A second-hand Japanese / European bike for £1,500 will be far superior in every way, to a brand new Chinese / Taiwanese / Korean / Malaysian machine.

If you intend to keep it after passing your test, then you definitely want a DON'T want a cheap new bike. You will be lucky if it lasts until the warranty runs out (if it actually has a warranty, that is...).

Yes it is, but stay away from Chinese makes! Cheap, but when you need parts there not so cheap!?

Do you plan on Keeping the 125 for long? Or do your test at some point?
If your doing your test I really wouldnt bother buying a brand new bike.
A friend paid 2k for a brand new bike, was lovly, but then past his test 5 months later. The bike sold for less then 1k!

I'd do a lot more research before buying that, not that there is necessarily anything wrong with it some Chinese made bikes have had quite good write-ups and at heart it is probably based on a Honda or Yamaha engine of a few years ago.

Too good to be true? It possibly is.

Chinese mite get a good review when new but give it a couple of months welds on some fail ,engines are bad copies of Japanese machines ,spares if you can get them don't all ways fit correctly.spend the extra get something that will last.

Check out some of them Chinese CG125 copies. They're dead cheap and not too bad. Spares aren't a problem either.
