Is it not a fact that everyone on here is vulnerable to just such an attack and these things are impossible to win on appeal?
Wouldn't just a couple of violations been sufficient to get my attention?

Everyone is vulnerable, and you are most vulnerable if you are irreverent, have controversial views and are willing to voice them, if you are popular, if you have one of those orange boxes and if you have a sense of humor. Jealous people don't like that.
I don't know how many violations it takes to get a suspension - though I understand you can get it right away for posting a nude pic as your Avatar.

Wow, I'm new here, maybe I need to rethink even being here. I came across 2 questions before this where someone had been deleted. Is everyone here in a war with each other?

The wise people at y/a seem to hand out violations on an arbitury basis. There seems to be no consistancy.

Got one of those new ones no question when it was maybe a chat? Who knows anymore. With all the rants, swearing, harassment & verbal assaults going on?
I developed a hard skin and about to ban all contacts.
